In 2019, Joan Baez celebrated 60 years in music by going on a farewell tour, which she called her “Fare Thee Well” tour. In October of 2020, it will be 60 years since the release of her debut self-titled album under Vanguard Records. Nina thought it was appropriate to tribute Joan’s history in music with an album based on her first official release, Joan Baez.
Fare Thee Well: A Joan Baez Tribute contains Nina's renditions of the 13 original cuts from Joan Baez in the original album order, with one additional tribute song written by Nina called, “Club 47/Fare Thee Well, Joan.”

Fare Thee Well: A Joan Baez Tribute was recorded in Sarasota, FL at Jump Dog Audio Productions. It was mixed and mastered by Mark Dann of Woodstock, NY.
All of the songs were performed in simple fashion, with acoustic guitar and vocals by Nina Ricci. Production credit goes to Teresa Hunt Ricci.
The portrait images of Nina on the front, inside, and back covers were taken by Teresa Hunt Ricci of Get Noticed Music Photography.
The concert photo on the front cover is an artistic rendering of the iconic photograph taken by Stephen H. Fenerjian of Joan Baez performing at the Club 47 in 1959.
This photo was the catalyst for Nina's inspiration behind the first half of her original tribute song: "Club 47/Fare Thee Well, Joan."
